Create Perfect White Balance In Your Photos

Good ole white balance...it can be so difficult sometimes. But it doesn’t have to be.

Here’s my favorite, super easy trick to keep your whites white.

When dealing with props or objects, use auto white balance and make sure that your exposure is balanced by focusing on the lightest item in the image.

For instance, the flowers are the focal point in this photo so they determine the perfect exposure.

Now...how do you know if you have perfect exposure? Notice the little bar graph when you look through the eye piece of your camera. When you change your shutter speed or ISO that bar graph will show you if your focal point will be under or over exposed. You want it to land smack dab in the middle and that is how you determine if you have perfect exposure!

So, auto white balance, focus on the lightest part of the photo and aim for perfect exposure. Give it a try and let me know how it goes! .
